I just found out the school tt no one knows jing ran shi admiralty! (tt's if i am not wrong. lol)

so we competing st. hildas, ang mo kio and admiralty. abit bu yao lian to say we will go to next stage! BUT WE WILL! haha.

1,today we had friendly with j1 we drew them 2-2 first two set no libero we played like shit. hmm so we lost both the first two set

2. junhao had caught some weird disease with red spots all over his limbs and body. these are what i suspect

My name is JIE. UM okay if i spend a whole post in my own blog it would be full of pictures. Things like :

baby fork and spoon

mr universe unbelievable abs.

but if you compare it with what i found on a dictionary site. mr universe is a failure.

my pictures arent exactly enchanting, nor is it supposed to be. A bit of alliteration but that's it. Wincoln=Jiayun=Wincoln made it a point not to state things too directly, so if you can see past what I mean - anyway it's pretty much obvious- well, um, good for you I guess. But yeah, that's it. My post is pretty much to introduce myself, and reflect a bit. Volleyball was something I did a bit when I was younger. I played just for the fun of it. And I was pretty GOOD. Still am but I try to improve more. I wasn't really great physically i broke my arm when i was p6. We had a talk yesterday from our senior. He talked a lot about how inspiring i was doing all the squats despite finishing the required amount for pt, um, all that jazz. I haven't really done the trivia yet. For my time in the volleyball team, it has definitely been a different view to me. Never really done sports like that before.Volleyball, I guess, is really much about teamwork. I guess you might think of it as frogs crawling on each other in a wet and slimy drain. They all mesh together perfectly and the frogs will be fine. If a frog's chest gets too big, its teammate get demoralised and the rhythm breaks down and even though it's hard to get a big chest, junhao might get one anytime. I had alot of teamwork stuff back in pri school soccer was really all the sports i did. I guess I saw how here, everything were like frogs, croaking at each other and driven by the greenish skin of junhao. And if junhao chest gets too big we all fall apart and stop croacking. However there always will be some frogs croaking that starts the chain reaction.I'm being whimsical, I know, but at least that's a start.

hello. due to the tag of changboon, im here to post. but it's also because im quite inspired to blog.

today's post will talk about team dynamics. my point of view ba...

jh's last post on discipline was deleted, yup, FYI, it's also part of team dynamics, self-discipline.

let me talk about the top ten under team dynamics other than a good captain.

1) common goal.
well... this is obvious. if you dont know, you go and die.

2) self-discipline.
okay. basically something big that we are lacking of... i may not have it myself.

3) commitment/enthusiasm/passion.
okay. sec threes so far so good ba. except a few. also hope that the younger ones can also have it. but it's also must be shown anw. by coming trg and cheering.

4) understanding
this is something that is very hard to achieve, understanding between each other. team doesnt mean training and competition only. i believe even outside those things we are still a team. i believe that we should start understand what each other is thinking about and help each other along. have we done our part in understand our teammates? are we very sure how our teammates feel sometimes and think sometimes? sensitivity ba. even myself dont have.

5) empathy
this is another difficult thing. have we ever stopped and look at our teammates? and teach them, help them. encourage them? some may have. but i believe more of us can improve on this part. cause we work as a team. think of other people, when you get something. think of other people, when you lose something. think of people when you cant have the way you want it to. are you fortunate enough?

6) motivated
of course we must be motivated. motivated to do something for the team, motivated to train, motivated to win...

7) sacrifice
yup. just sacrifice abit of time. abit of effort. come for training, do your PT.

8) flexiblility
adapt to situations. sometimes we must see situations where we must see who to give the ball to in the court and so on. also, sometimes we just cant get to do something we like to do. i hope we can change some of our mindsets and be flexible.

9) Nobody's Perfect - But A Team Can Be
this sentence might seems to be simply saying about teamwork, having a team to work together. but what i want to bring out is a team is not only one person. we are many people. we dont work alone. no one of us can assume responsiblity on the whole thing. nor no one can assume glory when the team succeed. if you think only you are responsible for the team or you are the one in team. then the others might as well quit. all of us as an individual. we are just like a black dot in a piece of white paper. without the paper, we wont exist, or not even stand out. and if this dot is not drawn properly, the whole paper may be ruined. it's just like hai qun zhi ma. if you put a drop of poison into a cup of water, the whole cup of water gets it. just like in a team one's attitude affects everyone.

10) moqi.
wow. this is the most most most difficult thing on the list. this thing over here is not one day two day can have one. maybe even a few years is not enough. but i hope at least we try okay.

ok la... tt's all i can htink of... some quite crap. also. let's work hard for a better tmr!
